Hi, I'm Jiwoo.

I live in Korea, and most days I don't think twice about the stuff that ends up on this blog. It's usually a friend visiting who points it out first — "wait, you just eat ramen out of the bag?" — and I realize I've never actually explained why.

So this is basically that, written down. Things I grew up with, things I picked up during my time in the military, habits I never questioned until someone from outside pointed them out. A lot of it ends up being food, honestly — there's a lot of convenience store combos on here, no idea why that's where I keep landing.

No "top 10 must-see spots," no brochure voice. I'm not really trying to convince you of anything either way. Just writing down what I'd actually tell you if you asked.
